Included is a checklist which has preparation suggestions,  lists of supplies,  and other information on <a href=\"https:\/\/providers.org\/assets\/2024\/07\/CareVote-Toolkit.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How to Host a Voter Registration Table<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We recommend you also bring printed voter registration forms for anyone without an id, or anyone who does not like online forms.   Envelopes and stamps for mailing these registrations are also good to have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also recommend you bring a tablet or laptop for people who do not want to register on their phones.  You will need either WIFI or a hotspot capability to register online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/info-details\/tips-for-hosting-accessible-events-and-meetings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tips for hosting accessible events and meetings<\/a> by the MA Office on Disability<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Register<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First look up your applicant on the state website at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.state.ma.us\/VoterRegistrationSearch\/MyVoterRegStatus.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Find My Voter Registration<\/a>, and see if they are already registered.  Maybe they simply need to update their address.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If they are not registered, review the <a href=\"https:\/\/revupma.org\/wp\/register\/\">voter registration requirements<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Citizen of the United States<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 16 years old&nbsp; (note \u2013 one is considered pre-registered and may not vote until 18)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resident of Massachusetts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not currently incarcerated by reason of a felony conviction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, determine whether they can register online, using a drivers license or state id or last 4 digits of their Social Security Number.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If they have the id,\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> they can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.state.ma.us\/OVR\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">register on-line<\/a> using their own phone.  Stand by to assist!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>they may prefer a larger screen, in which case you can help them with a tablet or laptop if you have brought those along.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If they do not have an id, or do not like working online\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use a printed voter registration page (you can print these yourself, or get some from a town clerk.)   Some people may want you to actually fill out the form.  Be prepared to provide applicants with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.state.ma.us\/divisions\/elections\/voter-resources\/find-my-local-election-office.htm#b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">address of their town clerk<\/a>, or to submit their registration forms yourself. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They can complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.state.ma.us\/OVR\/Pages\/FormAndReview.aspx?Action=Register&amp;RMVValue=RMVIDNo&amp;FromPage=MailInRequirement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">registration on-line <\/a>form, knowing that they will need to print it&#8230; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For registering voters without an id, let them know they may be asked for some id the first time they vote.  See the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sec.state.ma.us\/divisions\/elections\/voting-information\/identification-requirements.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">State&#8217;s Identification Requirements page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accessible Electronic Vote by Mail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Accessible Electronic Vote by Mail is new and underutilized.
